In addition to a doctorate in Modern History and Literature from Drew University, she has five master's degrees. She is also a master-level certified tutor through the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Associate program and a certified Supplemental Instruction Coordinator. She has twenty years of teaching and learning experience within higher education and currently serves as the Distance Education Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and as an online adjunct instructor in Saint Peter's University's doctoral education program.
She has not abandoned her original goal. She has just as many years of experience working with middle graders as a Christian camp counselor, Vacation Bible School instructor, Sunday School teacher, and a volunteer tutor with the local elementary and middle schools.
